Protect the fabric and finish
Always follow the care instructions listed on the individual product page and garment label. When those instructions allow machine washing, a gentle cycle and cooler water are the safest general approach for preserving color, shape, and surface finishes.
Washed and distressed pieces
Snow-washed, vintage-washed, acid-washed, mineral-washed, sunfaded, raw-hem, and frayed garments are intentionally finished for character. Subtle variation is part of the look. Gentle washing helps preserve those details.
General care habits
- Turn garments inside out before washing when practical.
- Wash with similar colors.
- Avoid unnecessary high heat.
- Do not aggressively pull or trim intentional frayed or raw-edge details.
- Follow the garment label for drying and ironing instructions.
